I can’t stop listening to the Glee version of “How Will I know”, “I Have Nothing”, and “Not The Boy Next Door” and somehow I got this. I have done nothing productive all day so now I decided to write a drabble, maybe it’s not productive but I’m saying it is because Chris Colfer himself said that if you’re a writer just keep writing no matter what form it is in just don’t stop. Okay that was paraphrased badly but it would take forever to find the real quote; instead I will stop babbling and give you some Klaine fluffiness that somehow became rather angsty so I had to stop.
Kurt took Blaine’s hand as they exited the auditorium. They had certainly not expected the entire club to show up for Glee practice but it seemed this week Mr Shue’s lesson had really hit home.
Everyone had finally faced up to the fact they only had 40 days left together. Kurt’s mind couldn’t help but wander back to that moment three years ago when he had stood on that stage singing Mr Cellophane, feeling so alone, sure he would be forever alone.
But this time he exited the auditorium he had an amazing group of friends, despite all the drama they caused each other, and he was hand in hand with the love of his life.
Kurt couldn’t take his eyes from Blaine Anderson.
They had had a rough week, well, a rough few weeks to be completely honest. Blaine had been distancing himself from Kurt and that had terrified the taller boy. He was scared of losing Blaine, the way he had lost his mother, and he didn’t think he would survive the heartbreak again. So he had tried to ignore it and Chandler had been the first distraction Kurt found.
Kurt had been terrified of Blaine leaving, was this distancing him slowing breaking up with him? Kurt had only wanted to push away the feeling of Blaine slipping away but it had blown up in his face because it had been the final catalyst to their growing tension.
Eventually it had come to a head and the boys had fought and Kurt had thought it was the moment Blaine was going to walk away forever. But by the grace of some god he didn’t believe in, that moment had allowed Kurt to find his Blaine once more.
Blaine had too been scared of losing his beau.
The only person Blaine had in his life that he could rely on truly was Kurt. His parents were unreliable and his Father was so far beyond that. Cooper had his ups and downs and Blaine still didn’t fully trust the older Anderson sibling.
Everyone else in the Glee club had their significant other or a friendship they had held for at least three years now, so even if they were being left behind they still had those friendship.
But Blaine had been an outsider, sure the New Directions had welcomed him with open arms, mostly, but at the end of line they were Kurt’s friends first. Blaine could hardly trust his own friends, The Warblers, after pulling up with Sebastian. No matter how forgiving Blaine was, he was still reserved with the boys who had once been his best friends.
Kurt was Blaine’s rock and he was beyond terrified of losing that. He had cried over it too many dark lonely nights in his parents’ house. Blaine never imagined finding his Kurt this early in his life, and now he had found him, he didn’t want to let him go. He couldn’t face it.
So Blaine began cushioning the blow early so he wouldn’t have to wake up one morning and Kurt would be gone.
Finally the two boys had understood each other. They were both scared of losing the other and they both now knew that wouldn’t happen.
Both of the young men exited the auditorium hand in hand, smiles plastered across their faces. They would make the most of the last 40 days of school they had together. They would make the most of the summer. And when the time came for Kurt to leave for New York they would cherish the year and a half of memories they had created together and always be looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

I am currently reading it but I’m pretty behind on reading the last few updates so does anyone know if it gets posted somewhere else so I can easily find the part I’m up to or an easy way to print it off and read?
Yeah basically I really need to get my eyes tested cause I pretty much can’t read my laptop screen lately.
I realise it has been a long while since I updated eather “Human” or “Cough Syrup” but frankly I have had no muse for writing angst and I have had alot of college related stuff to deal with and just havn’t felt like writing fiction lately but here is a new chapter of “Cough Syrup”! Oh and a note on “Human” the next chapter will be posted as soon as my beta is feeling better!

I am still on my hunt for the perfect Klaine fanfic! I really need something to read!
I’m looking for something that is a multi-chapter so like 20+ chapters maybe?
Something that is finished preferably but almost finished with regular updates is fine too.
AU is fine but preferably not like some sort of total fantasy world, just AU in terms of maybe timeline and added character depth. Though I also don’t mind role reversal eg teacher!fic.
Klaine must must must be end game, I have read way too much Kurtbastian and Seblaine lately!
I am already reading Little Number and Dalton, and Go Your Own Way is on my to-do list already.

I really want to read some Klaine…
Some notes… I already read Dalton by CP Coulter, I’m not reading Go Your Own Way yet but it is in my to do list for later, and I read Little Numbers already …I think they are the current hugely popular fics but if there are any other huge fics that you could recommend don’t hesitate to add them, especially if they are older ones which have been finished for a while that I might have missed.
So please leave me some links to some perfect fanfictions there must be something out there ready to catch my eye I’m just looking in the wrong places at the moment I think.
Any suggestions?

Blaine Anderson is a young high-flying New Yorker about to begin a dazzling career on Broadway. So what happens when he crosses paths with aspiring NYADA student Kurt Hummel who is harbouring something deadly?
The New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts was everything Kurt Hummel had hoped it would be, and more. He had a full schedule of dance, drama, and vocal lessons. He really was living his dream. But Kurt missed his best friend. It just wasn’t the same without Rachel who had opted to stay in Ohio to be nearer Finn who was now running Hummel’s Mechanics now that Kurt’s father Burt had a seat in congress. Rachel had given up her dreams for Finn and took a place at Western Ohio University’s dramatic arts department where she too studied dance, drama, and song.
Rachel and Kurt kept in touch of course, they had been best friends for four years now even though they had begun more as “frenemies” but eventually they could no longer deny how similar they were in almost every aspect of their lives and allowed themselves to become closer than any other two members of Glee club. Rachel and Kurt shared everything and Kurt was so glad when she and Finn got together but in a way he was jealous because Rachel was the only one who ever understood him and Finn took that away because she began to spend so much time with him instead of Kurt.
Kurt knew this was selfish but he had never had a best friend, and never a friend like Rachel who he could always confide in. Kurt had never had a boyfriend; never kissed anyone without at least two days’ notice, except David, which was the most distressing experience of his life, but Kurt tried to push that to the back of his mind. He was waiting for the right person, he was waiting he told himself over and over again.
But now Rachel was all the way in Ohio and here was Kurt in the middle of New York City. The city was magical just as it had been on that first visit for nationals back in his junior year when Kurt decided he knew this was what he wanted more than anything and he knew he would do anything to make it happen. Kurt had nothing left for him in Ohio; Rachel and Finn had each other and even Burt had Carole now.
Kurt was happy for them all and he knew his passion and love lay in theatre and he was happy here in New York, even if he was a little lonelier than he had hoped but every time he looked out of his apartment window or stepped out of the front door he was reminded he was in the city where dreams came true and all of his dreams were indeed beginning to come true.
